Take Up Space
If you know someone who stutters, give them time. you can wait. don’t guess words for people. not only is it embarrassing for us who stutter, it’s embarrassing for you when you get it wrong.
People who stutter: we’ve spent our lives thinking we need to be smaller. Thinking we are a burden to others when our words don’t come out perfectly fluent. but we deserve to exist. deserve to speak. deserve to take up space.
